Getting Started
Screenings
Preliminary assessment is used to identify individuals who may have speech, language, or communication difficulties.
It's typically a brief evaluation (15-20 minutes) to determine if further evaluation or intervention is necessary.
The screening helps identify potential issues and guides the next steps in the evaluation and treatment process.
Initial Evaluation
Comprehensive assessment to assess an individual's speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
This evaluation involves various standardized tests, observation, and interaction to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
The results help determine the individual's specific communication needs and guide the development of a personalized treatment plan.
ST Therapy
Once the individual’s skills have been assessed and their needs identified, goals will be set, and the clinician will work alongside the individual/family to meet those needs.

Johanna Enriquez
M.S.CCC-SLP
Owner and lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Thriving Speech Center, and holds certification from ASHA as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Albizu University in 2012, she obtained her SLPA credentials in 2017 and completed her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Albizu University in 2018.
With over 6 years of experience in pediatric and adult care, Johanna has worked across various settings, including schools, SNF, ALF, and outpatient rehabilitation centers. Her extensive background showcases a unique combination of expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient care.

The SPEAK OUT! Therapy Program, developed by Parkinson Voice Project, is a comprehensive program to help people with Parkinson’s and related neurological disorders regain and retain their speech and swallowing.
